Finished Plank #3!

Port side plank #3 is on, next we glued and clamped plank #3 on the starboard side.  We're half done planking!
Practicing rowing on our rowing machine....

On the skiff that we built last year, we are making modifications to the floorboards.  In this picture, we screwed a vertical piece onto the floorboard, this will hold up the coxswain's floorboard.

We dry-fit plank #4 to mark out the width of the land.
And used a spokeshave to bevel this area where the next plank gets glued onto our boat.
We used a bandsaw to cut out the first oar for our boat, the oars will be made of pine.

Third Plank Placement On The Port Side

We placed clamps on plank #3 for dry fitting.  The reason we dry fit is to make sure we have the tools ready and the plank fits properly.
We traced out the plank and made registration marks.

We spread epoxy on the land of plank #2 .

Also spread epoxy on plank #3 to prepare it for placement onto plank #2.

We lined up the registration marks on planks #2 and 3.  The next step is to clamp and wait for the glue to cure.
