Keeling It

We marked the stem where it hits the keel, so we could cut the stem off

We were using the thickness planer to make the wood thinner to use for our stern stem.

We were gluing the wood we planed down to the stem to make it thicker.

Shaving down the stem so it will fit with the keel.  We were working hard on the boat. 

Stick Together

Spreading epoxy on the laminations to make the outer stem.

We strapped the outer stem on the bow of the boat.

We glued the keel of our boat to make it longer. Also on the work bench are finished outer stems.
